Canine Conditioning Foundations

Cost: $150 per Dog and Handler Team
This is a beginner level class for handlers looking to safely implement a conditioning program for their dogs. Handlers will work one dog throughout the entire class.
All handlers will be working their dogs simultaneously. Each team will be separated by ring gates, but your dog should be able to work while other dogs are being worked around them.
This course will provide handlers with an introduction to canine fitness foundations with a focus on conformation. Topics covered will include assessing the dog’s posture, training foundational exercises to support good posture, and ensuring the dog is performing those exercises safely and with proper form.
Our first meeting will be on Thursday, July 3rd at 5pm at Happy Dogs.
The remaining classes will be on Fridays and we will agree on a time slot during the first class.
Please bring PLENTY of treats with you to each class, preferably light colored and NOT round (to avoid treats rolling into other dogs’ spaces.)
You do not need to bring any equipment to the first class.
